Application PROCESS

What does the application process look like?
-
Unless specified otherwise, applicants have permission to use large language models like ChatGPT during the admission process, provided they acknowledge the AI's assistance and declare which models they used.
We believe that AI assistants can either boost or get in the way of how well people perform, depending on the task and how they're used. We want to leave the choice up to you. We think that transparency and proper attribution of AI contribution can help society navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by these advanced models.
-
Apart from basic questions about you, the application form consists of a task and a couple of open ended questions.
We encourage you to not spend more than two hours on the open ended questions. However if you want to spend more time on the form, you can.
The application form is the same for as for our other camp, PAIR, you can apply to only one of them or both.
We aim to send the stage 1 decision within two weeks of the deadline
-
Within two weeks of the application deadline, we’ll invite a fraction of applicants to the second stage, which will consist of a couple of tasks in total for about two hours. We hope we created tasks which will be both fun to work on and interesting in different ways.
-
Successful applicants will be invited for an online interview in which we would talk more about you and your interests and the camp. We expect to announce the final decisions by early July. You can indicate in the application form if you need an earlier decision.
